At the Port

At the port, there are a few stores selling gifts as well as a tourist information stands with free city maps. All the staff spoke very good English so it was easy for us to chat with them and get directions to the tram stop. There are also stands for the City Sightseeing buses.

Transport from the port

Getting into the city from the port was very easy. Follow the directions to the tram stop which will be market as a coloured line on the floor. To get to the centre take the tram number 7 or 6T. A single journey to the city centre costs €2,50 if you buy at the ticket machine before you board or €3,20 if you buy onboard. You can price and more information for all transport in Helsinki on the HSL website.
